Several hundred new books came in this past week, including a few dozen cookbooks, and some holiday crafts books. On display out front through September, the cookbook collection is a dazzler, with The Practical Mushroom Encyclopedia, The Wok Bible, Classic Chinese Cuisine, Tapas, Mezze, How To Eat Like a Republican, William-Sonoma Grilling…you get the idea.

And it’s not too early to start holiday gift-making, for those of you into crafts. Come look them over during the month of September
