Two of our dogs are over 16 and need special care and they, too, have the will to live like Cody, we are truly blessed. I was unable to adapt to the ex-pat lifestyle and ended up having to retreat to the U.S. My wife (who again lives in Boquete - I am in the dreaded state of Texas) sent me your "history" knowing it would interest me. We have 9 dogs of various sizes and breeds, and 2 cats and we still expect our vet to be punctual when will go to take them in a for a visit.
